Not at all! While we’ve worked with many couples who love hiking—some even new to it—it’s not a requirement to enjoy the beauty of nature for your elopement.

We believe nature is for everyone, whether you’re excited about a 10-mile trek or prefer to exchange your vows at a scenic overlook you can drive right up to.

There are countless breathtaking locations that only require a short walk, and many are easily accessible by car. 

Absolutely! If having your loved ones with you is an essential part of your day, we’d love to help find the perfect spot that’s both beautiful and accessible for your group.

Our packages are designed for up to 15 people, as many of these stunning locations are best suited for smaller gatherings.

However, we’re happy to discuss options if you’re planning for a larger group! Let’s chat and find the best fit for your vision.

We’re not traditional wedding planners. Think of us as your guides, co-creators, and logistics support crew. We’re part travel guide, local expert, idea-generator, and day-of support—all here to help you shape an intentional day you’ll love.

What we don’t do: We don’t book travel, lodging, or vendors. We don’t make decisions for you. What we do is give you the tools, guidance, and recommendations to plan your day, your way.

Yes! After couples book a date with us and we start planning, we send over a full location guide of all of our favorite locations in the region.

Yes, for NYS you need one witness to sign the marriage license. If you don’t have any guests joining your photographer can sign as your witness!

Yes! We do offer complimentary officiant services, but you’re more than welcome to bring a friend or loved one.

Once we hear from you, we’ll schedule a call to discuss your ideas, answer any questions, and make sure we’re the right fit for your day. After that, we’ll finalize a date, and to secure it, we’ll need a deposit and contract. Then, we can dive into the fun part—planning your perfect elopement!

Eloping can be as planned or as spontaneous as you’d like it to be! We recommend booking once you’re confident this is the way you want to celebrate. Most couples typically book 6-18 months in advance. For our busiest months—August, September, and October—we suggest booking at least 9 months ahead to secure your preferred date. That said, we’ve helped couples plan elopements in under two weeks, so anything is possible!

Absolutely not a problem! Many couples who inquire know they want an elopement and work with us at the beginning of the planning process to nail down exactly what they would like for their day. 

Eloping is often far more affordable than a traditional wedding. While the average cost of a traditional wedding in the U.S. is around $34,000, elopements typically range from $5,000 to $15,000, depending on your preferences.

What you don’t need when eloping:

• Venue Costs (average $6,000 – $25,000)
• Catering for a big guest list (average $5,000 – $10,000)
• Formal reception entertainment like DJs or live bands (average $1,000 – $3,000)
• Excessive rentals or decor (average $2,000 – $5,000)
• Open bar (average $2,000 – $4,000)
• Bridal party expenses (average $500 – $1,000 per person) 
• Wedding favors (average $500 – $1,000) – Skip these and invest in experiences instead.
• Invitations & paper goods (average $300 – $1,500) – Elopements often have fewer (if any) paper invites or RSVP cards.
• Transportation for guests (average $500 – $2,000) – Without a large guest list, you don’t need to arrange transport for everyone.
