Grace and Cordero are the kind of couple who feel most at home outside, so a fall ADK elopement at sunset was pretty much the perfect fit for them. Cordero spent a few years living in the Adirondacks and still holds a soft spot for the mountains, and Grace? She’s a self-proclaimed outdoors lover through and through. So choosing the ADK for their “just us” ceremony made complete sense.
Their day was simple in the best way. They exchanged vows with only each other (and the quiet of the woods) as witnesses, taking in the early fall colors and that calm, cozy feeling the Adirondacks always seem to give. After the ceremony, we all hiked up for some fresh air and extra adventure!
And the sunset? It absolutely showed up! It wrapped the whole evening in this peaceful, golden finish that felt like the perfect reward for the quick climb.
We had such a great time with them – easy conversations, lots of laughs, and one of our first fall shoots of the season that reminded us exactly why we love this time of year.
A simple, nature-filled day for two people who felt right at home in it. Exactly how an Adirondack elopement should be.
