Grace and Mike’s day felt like a full-circle moment in the best way. When a couple tells you they’ve hiked 33 High Peaks together and fell in love somewhere between the views, the effort, and the shared granola breaks… an Indian Head adventure elopement just makes perfect sense. This place shaped so much of their story, so bringing their wedding day here felt natural – like the next step on a trail they already knew.
Their ceremony overlooking that iconic view was simple and meaningful, with the kind of quiet that makes you slow down and take it all in. And the best part? They got to recreate their photo – yes, the award-winning one that ended up in Adirondack Life Magazine!
We loved spending the day with them and hearing all the little stories tucked into their years of hiking together. It was one of those elopements that felt both adventurous and easygoing – a reminder of how grounding these mountains can be when you share them with your person.
A perfect day for two people who’ve already climbed so much together.
