You know those days that feel like the universe is in a really good mood? That was Kellie and Chad’s elopement day. Their serene Adirondack sunset elopement was filled with warmth, intention, and the kind of stillness that makes you pause and really soak it all in.

Just a week before the big day, Kellie got a fresh fingers-crossed tattoo—a symbol of good luck. And whether or not it had any mystical powers, it sure felt like it worked, because they were gifted with perfect summer weather!

We got a chance to hang out with them as they were getting ready for the day. Afterward, their ceremony took place in an open field, surrounded by only a handful of their closest friends—one of whom officiated. It was honest, heartfelt, and beautifully personal. We then hit the trail for a sunset hike through peaceful woods that opened up to some incredible views. And that golden light? It just kept going.

This day was about slowing down, being fully present, and letting the day unfold with joy. The kind of day you don’t want to end, but one you’ll never forget.
