Underneath a canopy of dramatic November skies, Phylicia and Steven exchanged vows at their breathtaking waterfall elopement near Ithaca NY. What an amazing way to start this month off. Their choice of date was intentional. Marrying on the first of the month AND during a new moon symbolized a fresh start and a new chapter in their lives together.
After hiking into the falls to meet their group of their family and friends, they began their ceremony by honoring the land with a special offering and sealed their love with a handfasting ceremony. It was a beautiful tradition that felt uniquely special to the couple and was so special to witness! You could feel the power of their love in a palpable way, dozens of birds were circling them during their ceremony, it was truly magical!
They have been through it all together – the ups, the downs, and everything in between. From navigating the challenges of a global pandemic to the heartache of losing a beloved pet, their bond has only grown stronger. As they embark on this new chapter, we wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, and endless adventures! Congratulations Phylicia and Steven!
