Indian Head

Indian Head is one of the most iconic viewpoints in the entire Adirondacks. If you’ve ever seen photos of Lower Ausable Lake with dramatic cliffs and mountains rising in the background, there’s a good chance it was taken from here. The view is unforgettable and easily one of the most recognizable landscapes in the region.

That said, this location is definitely more of an adventure elopement spot. The hike is long and requires planning, but for couples who love a full day on the trail, the payoff at the end is incredible.
