Emily and Daniel’s frozen waterfall elopement with short adventure hike felt extra special in the best way. These two loves nature, and their trips revolved around hiking and time outdoors – so choosing an Adirondack winter day for their wedding just perfectly made sense.
Right from the start, they told us they’ve always been drawn to the quiet kind of beauty. Not the loud, over-the-top stuff. The peaceful kind. The kind you find standing near a frozen waterfall with snow tucked into every corner of the woods. And wow… the Adirondacks really showed off for them.
What made the day even sweeter was the timing. They chose to elope exactly 14 years from the day they first met (and yes, we absolutely melted a little). Fourteen years of history leading up to one very intentional, very them kind of day.
They exchanged their wedding vows right in front of a stunning frozen waterfall, surrounded by snow and winter stillness. And after the ceremony, we headed out for a short adventure hike together, because of course we did. The trail gave them space to breathe, laugh, and actually soak in the fact that they had just gotten married in one of their favorite kinds of places.
Emily and Daniel set out wanting a wedding day that felt calm, intentional, and rooted in nature. And safe to say… mission accomplished.
