Abigail and Andrew’s summer Field Micro Wedding in the Adirondacks was such a dream! These musicians/teachers met while studying music in college – how cute is that?! After starting wedding planning, they decided to switch gears and celebrate more intimately… that’s when they reached out to us, and we are SO glad they did!
The day of their elopement, mountaintop cloud cover forced us to switch gears a bit, but with the joy these two had in just celebrating the day, it seemed like those speed bumps were just pebbles in the road! The change in plans actually left more time during the day for more exploring of some of the coolest nearby spots! These two definitely get an award for having the most diverse weather in one day! We started the day in a misty mountain valley with private vows (peep the rock-paper-scissors game to see who went first!).
Then, we headed to a sunny field where Abby and Andrew’s family, friends, and fur baby were waiting to celebrate their ceremony, (which included a beautiful accordion instrumental!) Afterwards, everyone headed off to Smoke Signals for some BBQ and wedding cake in their private room *with the prettiest view of the mountains.* Oh my goodness, what a beautiful day it was!
Congratulations, Abby and Andy! We are grateful for your trust in sharing your special day with us!
